Google Leak Reveals New Charger, Pixelsnap Stand, and Case Pricing

Leak reveals Googles upcoming accessories

Google’s upcoming accessories, including the Google Pixel 10, Pixel Watch 4, are scheduled to be unveiled this week; due to a series of leaks, we already know almost all about them. Although this is a regular occurrence every year, something strange has emerged this year. A retailer’s late leak has revealed the presence of a device not previously reported, a few days after the Pixel 10 Pro Price leak.

Google unveiled last year a 45W power adapter made for the Pixel 9 series. Though it may not be especially amazing, it is still a good item. Still, Google appears to be getting ready to release something rather more significant this year. Merchants are getting ready for the launch in the run-up to Google’s hardware event; some, including PC-Canada and TrueData IT, have accidentally made their listings visible.

Among Google’s upcoming accessories listings is a Google 67W Dual Port Power Adapter available in a Snow colorway. Though it’s not strange to find chargers with such power ratings these days, it’s reassuring to have another choice from a well-known business like Google. These records also help us to understand the alleged price, albeit only in CAD. Priced at CA$79 (about $57 USD), the new 67W charger is allegedly almost double the CA$39 charge of the 45W charger. This choice is far from the worst, even if there are undoubtedly more reasonably priced (and perhaps better) substitutes out there.

The expected price of some Google’s upcoming accessories already reported, including the Pixelsnap Charger with stand, is revealed in the retail listings. Priced at CA$99 (roughly $72 USD), this accessory is actually CA$10 cheaper than the Pixel Stand 2 it is replacing (in a spiritual sense). Not all goods are being discounted, nevertheless. The new cases appear to be rising in price, probably because of the inclusion of magnets within. The fresh cases are listed at CA$69 ( roughly $50 USD), whereas the Pixel 9 variants were all priced at CA$49 (roughly $35 USD). Set for August 20, Google’s event will present the upcoming devices.
