Salesforce has formally introduced Agentforce 360, a comprehensive next-generation artificial intelligence agent system meant to integrate human operations, data, and AI into a single operational core. Coming before Dreamforce 2025, the announcement aimed to put Salesforce in a more bold position in the increasingly competitive business AI environment.
Fundamentally, Agentforce 360 tries to go beyond static automations by allowing more dynamic, context-aware artificial intelligence agents included throughout the Salesforce product suite. Based on the platform’s data and governed by enterprise controls, these agents may engage consumers, support employees, coordinate across systems, and act upon corporate logic.
Agent Script, a human-readable JSON-based logic language that enables companies to clearly express conditional actions and control agent choices, is one of the main innovations. The platform also unveils Agentforce Voice , which enables real-time conversational interactions, automatic transcription, and the ability for human agents to intervene as needed.
To get the system running, Salesforce has also introduced Agentforce Builder, which lets users from a single interface create, experiment with, and deploy AI agents. The design stresses agent reasoning’s traceability, live debugging, and low-code processes. Behind the scenes, Data 360, previously Data Cloud, drives what Salesforce describes as ‘Intelligent Context ,’ a system for organizing unstructured data and surfacing pertinent insights for agents.
Slack is given particular consideration in this design; it is seen as the agentic operating system, a conversational front door where agents and staff may engage, extract information, and act without exiting messaging streams. Salesforce notes strong early traction: Agentforce 360 already serves over 12,000 clients, including well-known brands such as Reddit, OpenTable, and Adecco.
Still, the debut happens among intense rivalry. Rapid improvement of their artificial intelligence skills is being made by rival suppliers, including Microsoft, Oracle, and Aurasell . Analysts contend that Salesforce’s relief from ‘pilot purgatory’, a term used inside to denote the difficulty many companies have in scaling artificial intelligence pilots to production, will depend on how well Agentforce 360 balances ease-of-use, power, and trust.
